Following lunch, which was attended by the majority of the 2XV whose game was cancelled because of last weekend’s sad event, a minute’s silence was held by all Bracknell Teams.
The 1XV was playing Tunbridge Wells (3rd in the League) started the day seven points above Bracknell (5th in the League)
Following an initial penalty Bracknell moved to a deserved 10-3 lead at half time.
Bracknell scrapped in the 2nd half with fearsome defence as Tunbridge achieving territorial parity. Of Bracknell’s three second half tries two were run in directly from turnovers. A final try was scored by Tunbridge at the death only to be topped by a final try from Bracknell. Ollie Radford converted all tries which added to his successful penalty resulted in a final score of 31-10.
The 5 point win lifted Bracknell to 4th in the League courtesy of a loss by London Welsh to within 2 league points of Tunbridge who cling on to 3rd place
Next week Bournemouth away.
The 3XV played out a 12-12 draw with Reading 2nd XV. The last kick of the match was missed depriving the club of a win. The Thirds are 3rd in their league
The fourth XV encountered a strong Berkshire Shire Hall 1st XV 59-5

Bracknell U 16 Girls won by 52 points beating a Wallingford, Didcot and Newbury Combo. At this level games are abandoned once one side concedes 50
The Colts took a development squad ensuring every 2nd XV player had a game to play a friendly at Camberley and were bettered 33-17
