Bracknell Rugby Club appoints new Head Coach for Womens and Girls Rugby

Bracknell RFC are delighted to announce Ella Amory as the new Women's Head Coach. Ella is not only a qualified rugby coach, with experience of coaching women and girls teams but she will also be able to share her experience as a current player in the Women's Premiership for Ealing Trailfinders.

Ella also has in excess of 20 caps for Belgium and has previously won the Women's Premiership whilst playing for Harlequins. Ella is also studying for her S&C Level 4 course with UK SCE and is certainly an all round Coach!

Adam Gillings, Chair of Women and Girls, said "We had some excellent candidates apply for the role but feel that Ella is a beyond exceptional candidate with not only the skills and experience to drive our Women's section on but she also has the attitude and determination to match. This is an exciting time for the club and I cannot wait to see the journey the side will go on"

In Ella's words, "I'm beyond excited to get started with Bracknell women. There is no doubt I am passionate about this game and I wand to convey through my coaching that everyone has their role to play on the field, that everyone is equally important. Rugby shaped me as a person, through its values of course but through the people I have met. To me, it is like a language that people speak, and wherever you go you'll find people that speak rugby which you immediately get along with.

I am a hard worker, and I believe that everything is possible. I'll get myself stuck in and expect the team to do the same. I want to spark their love for the game. "

Bracknell's women side return to preseason on 17th July but prior to that, there are weekly social touch rugby sessions. We welcome all players, from new to the sport, looking for a change of club or recently graduated from youth rugby.

Benefits from joining us include food after training, physio care, use of Gym and being part of a fantastic and welcoming group of players. Rugby is a sport that is not only good for fitness and mental health but you will also find friends for life.
